San Diego, California, USA, March 20th, 2020 – As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to seriously impact individuals and countries around the world, the Paramount Transportation Systems group of companies is closely following the evolving pandemic worldwide. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected during this time. Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners, and communities. We are doing everything we can to ensure the well being of all and have activated our business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted service.
The growing pandemic has reminded us of the importance of our role in global mobility, servicing thousands of relocating families around the world. Many companies are concerned about how they will continue to operate during this outbreak. Our goal is to be fully transparent on the steps we are taking to ensure our business continues to operate safely and effectively while also supporting our community and customers who may be impacted by COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many governments around the world to enact shutdowns and travel restrictions, which has contributed to cascading supply chain disruptions. Today and every day, we will proactively assist our clients in expediting their shipments given the ongoing government imposed lock downs and travel limitations, as well as disinfecting and remediating potential COVID-19 contaminated shipments and homes.
Paramount is taking all necessary actions to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19 while also preserving business continuity. We aim to support public health and safety by:
- Following guidance/instructions from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and each branch office’s governing health authorities.
- Instructing our employees and supply chain to take proper steps (protocols and precautions) to control the spread of COVID-19.
- Reminding our employees and supply chain of individual actions they can take to help curb the spread of COVID-19, such as washing their hands thoroughly and more often, avoiding close contact with all people, sick or not sick, covering coughs/sneezes properly and cleaning/disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Our goal is to remain safe and operational, delivering high-quality and reliable service to our customers. We are closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on our clients and will continue to keep clients, who may be affected by these disruptions, updated with timely information as it pertains to their respective relocations.
If you would like to be added to the distribution list for our weekly Service Alerts that outline situations that may affect our industry, including COVID-19, political instability, and natural disasters, please email your contact information to quality@pts-moves.com.
I want to personally thank our employees, customers and supply chain for their continued trust, partnership and support as we work through the challenging times ahead.
Sincerely,
Mike Keller
Chief Executive Officer
